c-Systems Teams Up with Honda to Offer Power Equipment Dealers Industry Benchmark Reports to Drive Efficiency and Profitability
Cedar Rapids, IA, August 18, 2021 – Ideal Computer Systems and c-Systems Software Inc., two leading industry-specific dealership software vendors in North America, are pleased to announce their partnership with American Honda Motor Co., Inc. on the Honda Performance Report for power equipment dealerships. The industry performance reports will include aggregate retail sales information from more than 1,600 Ideal and c-Systems dealers to establish industry benchmarks for performance, which dealers can use to inform their business decision-making.
In addition to aggregate benchmarks for all outdoor power equipment dealers, the Honda Performance Report will contain measurements specific to Honda products and segments. Honda dealers will be able to see how they compare to the industry as a whole and to all Honda Ideal and c-Systems dealers reporting their sales.
“The goal of this project is to assist our network of dealers in achieving the highest level of efficiency and profitability,” said Gary Childress, Senior Manager, Honda Power Equipment. “Honda has a proven history of creating innovative performance benchmarking processes in all areas of our business. We are very enthusiastic to bring that philosophy and culture to our Power Equipment dealers. American Honda is committed to being an outstanding partner to our dealer network, helping to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales.”
The Honda Performance Report will be released in phases, with different levels of automation, beginning in August 2021. The initial version will be available in PDF format for all Honda dealers, with other versions to follow, allowing non-Ideal and non-c-Systems dealers the ability to run reports and update their information manually.
“In future stages, Ideal and c-Systems Honda dealers will now be able to see their individual profitability numbers without having to run reports or even lift a finger. Constellation Data Solutions will do all the heavy lifting for them,” said Dave Johnson, OEM Solutions Manager for Ideal and c-Systems. “Armed with reliable, accurate data, coupled with the years of experience Honda brings to the table, our mutual dealers will have the best partners in the industry to ensure their success now and into the future.”
In the near future, Ideal and c-Systems dealers can expect to receive full, automated reports with their dealership performance details throughout every phase of the release.
“With this level of access to actual gross profit numbers by segment and region, Honda dealers now will have greater visibility into the industry and their own,” says Ajay Thakur, General Manager of Ideal and c-Systems. “Constellation Dealership Software is proud to be working with the premier industry leader, American Honda, to help their dealers better manage all aspects of their businesses and increase profitability.”
